La Casa de María Bed & Breakfast
Located in the beautiful city of Oaxaca, our home is your home. Our only concern is to see that your stay is comfortable and that you enjoy the many wonderful attractions.
Surrounded by gardens, La Casa de María offers the peace and tranquility of a small oasis amid the bustle of the city. Situated just north of the Historic Center, we are a leisurely walk from the zócalo, along the Tourist Walk. City buses pass at the corner of the street and taxis abound at reasonable rates. Nearby in our residential area you will find restaurants, shopping and all services.
Breakfast is of course included in the cost of our comfortable rooms and you may choose to eat inside, on the patio, in the garden or on the Terraza los Geranios. There are dozens of excellent restaurants in Oaxaca and, for the days when you are too tired to go out, you may arrange for other meals with us or order delivery service from one of several selected restaurants.
All of our rooms have a private bath, ceiling fan and cable TV or you may choose to watch videos, listen to music, read or just socialize in one of our three common rooms, or in the gardens. We can provide limited parking space in our garage or arrange for you to park in a secure lot one block away.
On the right is one of our "standard" rooms, while on the left is one of our "bungalows" (efficiency apartments) with one bedroom and furnished equipped kitchenette.
Our FAMILY SUITE expressly designed for the large family. On two levels, it is arranged for a minimum of five persons and can comfortably accommodate a group of eight or nine.
